Riverbend Poetry Series

Embarking on its fifth year, the 2010 Riverbend Poetry Series is set to inspire, entertain and delight audiences again in 2010. Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting Riverbend Books.

Ticket price includes sushi and a glass of wine. All events begin at 6.30pm.

Riverbend Poetry, Series 1

Bronwyn Lea reads from her latest award-winning collection (The Other Way Out). Joining Bronwyn are local emerging voices Jonathan Hadwen (Night Swim), Pam Schindler and the launch of Small Packages 11.

Riverbend Poetry, Series 2

Back by popular demand is one of Australia’s finest voices Nathan Shepherdson (Apples with Human Skin). Joining Nathan are Tim Collins (The Crooked Floor) and Victorian poet Kent MacCarter (In The Hungry Middle of Here).

Riverbend Poetry, Series 3

Queensland Poetry Festival will feature local poets appearing at the festival this year as they launch their program and CD A Million Bright Things, recorded at Queensland Poetry Festival in 2009. More details released in early 2010.
