Refund Policy
Queensland Writers Centre (QWC) has a no refund policy on our workshops, seminars, masterclasses and events.
Provided 3 working days notice is given, participants may use the paid funds as credit for or towards the cost of attending another workshop, seminar, masterclass or event (space permitting).
All credit must be used within 30 days of issue.
In the event that there are no available places in another workshop, seminar, masterclass or event, credit may be used to purchase or extend QWC membership.
Please note: Credit cannot be used to purchase books or other products available from the QWC shop.
Deposits and part-payments will not be refunded, but may be used as credit for or towards another workshop, masterclass, seminar or event at the discretion of management.
QWC has a no refund or return policy on books, magazines or other products purchased from the QWC Shop, unless the goods are defective by fault of the publisher or distributor.
Conditions of Sale
Provided books and products are in stock, orders will be processed and dispatched within 5 working days. A 'sold out' notice will be displayed where stock is currently unavailable.
Queensland Writers Centre only dispatches via Australia Post standard mail from Brisbane CBD.
Books can be mailed to prisons; however it is recommended that prison guidelines be checked before purchase. Some prisons don't allow delivery of hardcover books or have restrictions on the number of items contained in a package.
Packages will only display the destination address and return contact details for Queensland Writers Centre. Packages cannot be sent anonymously. The sender's billing address will appear on the order invoice.
For Purchases to be Delivered Outside Australian Territories
Books and products can be dispatched outside of Australian Territories.
Dispatch and Delivery conditions apply as above. For purchases requiring an air carrier, for example FedEx, it is recommended that you contact Queensland Writers Centre directly on qldwriters@qwc.asn.au. An additional charge will apply.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and GST is included on books, products and some events. Workshops, seminars and masterclasses do not attract GST.
