QWC Workshop EOIs
QWC is committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for our workshop attendees across a range of writing interests; to this end, we encourage workshop Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from established writers with tutoring experience who also have strong knowledge in the area of the proposed workshop. QWC defines an established writer as someone with considerable professional experience and peer recognition.
Workshops can be targeted to potential attendees at an intermediate, emerging, or established level (see level definitions below). QWC does not require proposals for beginner-level general writing workshops or courses, as these are already facilitated by experienced QWC tutors. For an indication of the standard and range of workshops programed by QWC, please refer to the current program.
QWC workshop attendee definitions:
Beginner: You desire an introduction to the subject
Intermediate: You have some knowledge and experience of the subject
Emerging: You have some professional experience and peer recognition
Established: You have considerable professional experience and peer recognition
To submit a workshop EOI, please email all of the below details to Program Manager Jackie Ryan on email@example.com. If your proposal is suitable for the program, QWC will initiate further discussions with you in relation to contracting, lesson plans, and your availability. The QWC Programs Team reviews each EOI received and thanks interested tutors in advance for the time taken to submit.
