Challenge yourself to the ultimate writing journey in Year of the Novel. Explore how to plan your book, narrative structure, characterisation, and voice. Learn the practical tools to stay focused and motivated until you reach The End. Over the course of the series, you’ll have the support of an experienced author and teacher, and the encouragement and support of your peers. All students receive feedback from the tutor on the first 10 pages of the manuscript. This is not a beginner course. This course is for writers looking to challenge their craft through the development of a long form work.

Dr. Venero Armanno is the award-winning author of ten novels, the latest being Black Mountain (2012). He holds a PhD in Creative Writing and is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland.
