Local poetic powerhouse Samuel Wagan Watson will step up to the mic, joined by Rockhampton poetess Kristin Hannaford and Victorian poet Ross Donlon.

Brisbane New Voices III launched two lovely local poets: Carmen Leigh Keates and Vanessa Page. They will be joined by some local poet Brett Dionysius, Victorian songwriting poet Andy White, and Brisbane slam poet Tessa Leon.

Queensland Poetry Festival will dazzle with a sneak preview of the 2012 festival, spoken in one strange word.
